Horizon
There is many a person out there
Seeming still and in a chair,
You may think his foot is tapping
To the radio, but no
He’s working the pedal
Of a hone.
He may seem quite alone,
But he is surrounded by all we do not see.
The end may never come but fear,
That means all the more time to prepare.
The end, like the beginning,
Won’t be preceded by anything.
Goodloe Byron is a bookist, songist, drawist and paintist from Maryland. Much of his youthful energy was lost in a drawn out book adventure in which he left thousands of novels across the world.
